Happy New Year
We had a nice quiet Christmas as planned in lovely wood built chalet in Shropshire. Like home from home really as we were surrounded by a large lake. The weather was'nt that spectacular with low cloud and fog the main feature. The town of Ludlow is well worth a visit and is one of the most beautiful in England. It's got it all. Nice shops, a river and a castle to explore.
For New Years Eve we plan another quiet one, well until midnight when we have a megga firework to explode! Our plans have changed from the orginal. As a predicted storm approaches with high winds forecast we've abandoned our trip to moor at bridge 103 on the Oxford Canal for the more comfortable surroundings of the marina. Our friends Pat & Johhny, (NBHoddy-Dod, now on the French canals), are arriving later and we'll be enjoying some great company, food & wine. Thank you to all those who have emailed and posted in our guest-book over the past year and here's to a fantastic 2007.
