New Feature

Ahoy shipmates, it's been a while since our last confession! Well I think August 4th was our last post so I thought it was about time I gave the blog a little boost.
As I was wondering about the marina earlier today I noticed a couple of Ravens overhead hawking a poor old Buzzard who was simply trying to enjoy his well caught breakfast nestled on his usual roosting spot. Having not yielded his prey the two Ravens finally got fed up and departed noisily to the East.
Having considered recently my disappointing lack of blog entries this year due to us not travelling out this Summer I was looking at ways to revamp slightly and starting a new regime of regular posts. Being a keen twitcher (Bird Watcher to you non UK viewers) and having spotted my first Red Kite to this area recently plus a brief visit from a passing Wheatear the other day I had a brainwave. Quite often I'm asked by other moorers who are aware of my keen interest in wildlife if anything interesting has been seen or heard on or around the marina. So, as the title suggests I decided to add one of my hobbies to our blog. Wigram's Twitcher is a simple record of the various species I spot on or around the marina grounds. It will also ensure that I don't neglect our blog as I intend to update the list quite regularly. You can hopefully view the scrolling records and pictures in the right hand sidebar.
Also I would be very grateful if any of you guys could email me anything you see of interest if your in the vicinity.
